Hi everyone! I have a problem, I'm from Albanian, I can travel in the EU for tourism without needing a visa, at this time I have applied for a non-EU still abroad single permit because I found a job in Malta. While waiting for the permit, can I travel to other Schengen countries or even Malta and not cause trouble with  the permit that is still under process? I want to travel only for tourism purposes, not to work.

Please if someone knows smth let me know.

Thank you!

@Pam Jo

Obviously it is a different issue to travel as a tourist or to travel to another country to take up employment.

As you want to travel within the Schengen area I recommend you contact the embassy of the country you want to visit

first. Most EU countries have diplomatic missions in Tirana.

@hanselmar But im planning on traveling for tourism, not work. And for Albanians we can travel to Schengen countries without a visa, just our passport and to follow with the 90 days rule.

you still can travel for a maximum period of 90 consecutive days within a period of 180 days, it won't effect your application for a working/visa permit, see identita.gov.mt

@office1795 Hi, I looked at Identita site but I couldn't find anything, if you have any link please send it to me. Thank you!
