Please clarify me

mani01civil

I came to Saudi Arabia on a Civil Engineer visa and applied for SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) membership as part of the Iqama process. However, my application was rejected because my degree is less than 5 years old.

The SCE informed me that they can issue a temporary membership, which is only valid for getting a final exit visa. Once I receive this temporary membership, I will proceed with the Iqama process.

Can you clarify if, after I obtain my Iqama, I will be able to change my occupation without final exit

ion?

Hi

You can try to change the designation, But most probably it will be rejected as they will get to know that your SCE membership is rejected and you are just changing the designation to work in the country. But there is no harm in doing that.
