Changing EOI after 190 pre-invite (changed job a month back)

Guys!! please need an important advice at priority. :(

Yesterday, I received a pre-invite for Subclass 190 from Victoria. However, I recently changed jobs on 20th September, and I haven't updated my Expression of Interest (EOI) or Registration of Interest (ROI) yet. My new job is in the same profession as my previous one, with a decent salary increase, and there is no difference in points.

I spoke to my migration agent, and they advised that I should have updated my EOI/ROI immediately after changing jobs. Now, they suggest letting this pre-invitation expire and waiting for the next round, as updating current EOI/ROI with new details might lead to rejection/complication.

I'm unsure about waiting, as there’s no guarantee of receiving another invite soon, and I don’t want to delay the process. What should I do in this situation? Should I update my EOI and proceed, or follow the agent’s advice and let it expire?
