SABIC SMP contract

SMP stands for supplemental manpower. Below are basic parameter guide to evaluate a job offer or contract.

Probation - should be 90 Days

Contract - should be limited fixed-term contract

Visa Status – Family or Single

Levy fee – paid by company for qualified family member

Work Schedule & Duration – should be 5/2 (8 hours per day). Total 40 hours work per week

Basic Salary monthly, daily or hourly rate – do your research fair market value in KSA

Housing Accommodation - cash in lieu of company provided accommodation

Transportation - cash in lieu of company provide car or vehicle

Cost of Differential Allowance – do your research

Education Allowance - do your research, depends on how many kids you have, and grade level

Total Gross Remunerations - do your research fair market value in KSA

Overtime Pay - Calculation is total basic salary x 12  x 1.5 / 2920. Applicable also for Holidays and Eids.

Public holidays per year – 10 days

Medical Insurance – covered you and qualified family member

Vacation Leave with pay – quarter, or twice a year per Saudi Labor Law

Airfare Ticket - quarter, or twice a year provided by company for you and qualified family member

Other Benefits – GOSI, EOSB as per Saudi Labor Law

Notice Period – 30 days by employer and employee

SMP means you will hold a position in the organization chart of Sabic while in service contract of Sabic you are not holding any position, you will be hired via Sabic approved vendors having SMP contract. Salary depends on different factors
