Hello Connections !

Recently I received an offer from one Construction company but unfortunately the company doesn't have available quota for Spass. So the company engage one of the Recruitment Agency and apply an Spass for me but the application get rejected after 10 days. The reason of the rejection as below;

Your application is unsuccessful due to the following reason(s):

You are not allowed to deploy the candidate to work for another organisation.

Sorry if this topic has been discussed here before but it will be great if someone facing the same issue as me and fell free to share here. I'm just curious since I already working in Singapore about 5 years now using Spass and this the only time got rejected with the "interesting reason".

Anyway the agency proceed with the Appeal and will see what is the outcome. Cheers !

Obviously, the company tried to circumvent quota restrictions by having you officially on another payroll, but still working for them.

MoMis spotted this and does not like it, thus  your S-Pass was rejected (without any fault of yours). The appeal probably has no chance of success either (I wonder what they wrote as justification?).

That was bad luck for you! Get over it, try to find a more honest employer and learn to avoid agents at all costs!
