Renovations on a property

Hello fellow expats.   I will begin interior renovations on a property that I purchased in the Zonal Colonial.  Do I need permits?   Can the costs of  my renovations be used to increase the property value?

So  you need to check if this is a heritage building!  If so you need to be very careful.  And YES it can be used to increase the value and thus  the taxes
