My name is Jack Buttle, and I’m an experienced professional in the luxury and cruise line hospitality industry. I have extensive experience managing restaurant operations, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality guest experiences. Having worked for top-tier brands such as Silversea, I’m well-versed in the intricacies of both luxury service and efficient operations.

After years in the cruise industry and UK land based general managment work, I’m excited to transition to a land-based position in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, where I have a place to stay and am ready to start a new chapter. My expertise lies in restaurant management, team leadership, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, which I believe would be an asset to any hospitality or F&B establishment.

However, you might want to expand your search to include more livable places on the coast unless you love air pollution and massive traffic congestion.

Finally, almost all the foreigners I know in the restaurant business in Vietnam have their own restaurant

and are usually married to a local. A couple of famous examples in Vung Tau (about 2 hours from HCMC) are David Pizza, Bistro 9 and Luca Pizza & Italian Restaurant.

Thanks for the information. I'm actually deciding to stay there as I know the city pretty well, and my partner is currently working there and the philippines.
