Portugal Resident is an English language newspaper and emails daily with Portugal wide news. Idealista can be translated to English by Google.

What you want to say is Observador.

Despertador = Alarm clock

Ha Ha Ha! Thks Johnny!

Pretty much any site you like (regardless of language), then let your browser translate it.

I use Chrome the most, but others do similar jobs.

I just read the auto-translated version of the above

This is a spanish newspaper, not portuguese (www.publico.pt).

Despite the same name, they have nothing to do with each other.

That dammed rebellion against the Iberian Union is still causing problems today 😎

I read the above on Chrome and Brave. Both worked perfectly.

Portugal has almost a thousand years of history. Only for 60 years (1580-1640) and because of a silly and jerk Portuguese king who died in Morocco in a war, without descendants, did Portugal become subject to this.

Those 60 years were a disgrace for the portuguese people.

No wonder Catalonia wants to be independent...

Talk about Iberian union is to say that you don't know anything (!) about the history of this country.😎 ....

Absolutely correct (except a little about an earthquake) , but I had to find some excuse for my error.

However, the big point is the translate funcion available on my favourite browsers allows pretty much everyone to read sites in a long list of languages.

The function doesn't work on every site, but it's fine on most.
