Senior citizen applying for a nrw motorcycle license

Hello there,at 70 yrs age this ex long term biker is told thst I need a medical board examination/intetview,perhaps a thru knee amputation makes it more necessary.Where do I apply for the medical exam etc etc please?Is it all arranged by Cosevi at La Uruca I wonder?Thanks v much.Peter Friend.

Also.. (in addition to my other post on your other post)... why not go to the Licensing ctr and ask them??  like... getting it from the horse's mouth.

Costa Rica law requires that you have a "pre-licensure" physical exam by a licensed physician. Many, many primary care physicians in the private sector are approved to perform those exams and to report the results to COSEVI which is the national licensing agency.


The exam is a joke. If you can fog a mirror, you pass, so don't sweat that. But you will have to pay the standard fee to the doctor. Many doctors have a sign or placard that tells you they're able to do the exam.
