Hello

It has been more than six months that I have moved to Riyadh and I still have not managed to get a car.

I  still have not found the car that I liked, that is why I am requesting your help here. (budget 150KSAR)

  1. Mazda CX5 : 140K - I liked it but too small
  2. Mazda CX60 : 177 K - overpriced but excellent design 1 reliable car
  3. Toyota Rav 4 ; 150K a reliable car but the options offered are the one of a car that dates back to a decade ago
  4. Ford territory 130 K -  well equiped car but it remains chineese, and Ford is having a well knows history of call backs
  5. Nissan X-Trail - a Japaneese car but with a French soul, so please no French wink.png
  6. VW Tiguan :  I liked the R line, but they are selling it with an engine of 1.4 at 190k (higher than UAE Price)
  7. Changan Uni T and all chineese cars : they offer many equipment but feedbacks are different, so reliability is to question

what do you advise me to take then, thank you

This is a no-brainer. Do not buy throw away vehicles that will drain your wallet.

Buy Japanese car Toyota Fortuner V6, 4.0 L, VX.  The A/C system of this vehicle is impressive, cools down in no time during the most unforgiving severe hot summer environment in Saudi Arabia.

Toyota spare parts are cheap, you can easily find in all spare parts dealer, and available in all major cities, even in the remote part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Among other vehicles, Toyotas is well-known to have the highest percentage resale value.

I wouldnt suggest fortuner for city use if it is the matter. I would suggest to buy second hand kia sportage, hyundai santafe or toyota highlander. Again used and low km one.
