Hello everyone

I have heard that we are allowed to import classic cars into Vietnam as of recently.

Anyone can confirm that?

I would like to start my importation business into Vietnam from different countries.

Anyone have experience importing vehicles into Vietnam?

Thank you

Hi there. Welcome to the expat.com Vietnam forum, and thank you for your first post.

I'm unable to confirm what you've recently heard. Would you tell us, please, where you had heard this?

There was a related thread a couple of years ago from a member in Australia, here.

Would love to hear more on this!

Unfortunately I don't have facebook. What's the name of the group? Is it listed in the Google results, here?

(Like you, I'm also from Canada. Where in Canada are you from?)

Revperformance2000

I am from Toronto and you?

They all have like a big UN stickers on their car doors.

i think thats the name of the group.

St. John's, NFLD born and raised, but spent 20+ years in T.O., mostly in the downtown core (Kensington Mkt., Cabbagetown, Danforth Ave., Broadview, Queen East & West). Very fond memories of the city.

I'd love to hear more about the possibility of importing classic cars to VN. I'm wondering whether there might be some relief from the (onerous) import regulations when the car is considered a "classic" or "antique".

Revperformance2000

Might have brought it in as antique. But ive seen air cool porsche’s , 80’s mercedes older mustangs on his FB page.

I have never been to NF maybe one day for lobster😋
