Advice on Roma Pass and priority access to Colosseum?

Hi everyone,

I'm relocating to Rome for a new job and want to show my family around when they visit in April. I've heard about the Roma Pass for skipping queues, especially at the Colosseum. Is it worth it? I'm torn between the 48h and 72h options. Would love to hear from those who've used it, particularly about the priority access and included public transport. My parents aren't very young anymore, so avoiding long queues would be ideal!

Thanks in advance for your advice!
