Renewed residence permit issue

Post new topic

han111

Hi all,

I joined my partner who is a student in Belgium on a family reunification visa. Based on this, I had no access to the job market on the back of my card was written, "arbeidsmarkt: neen". On renewing my residence card, this has changed to "arbeidsmarkt: onbeperkt". I have these questions and it would be great to get answers.

    1. Could this be a mistake or the rules have changed

    2. Can I work with my new residence status

    3. Is there anyone who has had a similar issue and how did they solve it

    4. Is there a specific authority I can contact for answers

It has been difficult to reach the authorities, so I am posting this here.

Thank you for your answers
