Seeking Advice on Moving to Jerez de la Frontera

Post new topic

Hello everyone,

My family and I are currently living in Tenerife, and we’re planning to move to Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia. I’m currently pregnant and expecting to give birth in a few months, so this move will likely take place shortly after the baby is born. We’re excited about this new chapter but would love some insights from those who live there or have experience with the area.

Here are some questions we’d love your advice on:

1. Education: Although it’s early, we’re curious about schools and educational options for the future. Are there any international schools or bilingual programs you’d recommend?

2. Cost of Living: What’s the general price level for housing, groceries, and utilities?

3. Relocation Process: Are there any tips or challenges we should be aware of when moving to Jerez with a newborn? Is it feasible and smooth?

4. Safety: How safe is Jerez as a place to live, and are there specific neighborhoods that are better or less desirable?

5. Climate: We’re curious about the weather throughout the year. How humid does it get, and what are the actual average temperatures each month?

We’d also appreciate any recommendations on the best areas to live in Jerez and general advice about adapting to life in the city, especially with a new baby.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thank you so much for your help!

Cristina
