Had to apply for my wife's passport.... What a carry on..... I initially did what we always did and did the HM Passport office online application and packed it in an envelope to send off ..go to the local post office and was told that we now have to submit an online shipping request for customs clearance. So we went back home and went in to the Cyprus post website and entered the shipping tool and did it or at least tried for about an hour to do it. And each time it denied completion as something was not correct. The problem being the online form indicates all asterisked fields must be completed so we did that and still failed several times... And each time you end up in a loop and have to start again despite saving some of the input... Eventually realised some asterisked fields also have to be completed...

Anyway once you get to final creation you then get a reference number and have to print it out albeit I suspect the reference number might be enough for post office to process the shipping of the item.

Another benefit of not being in EU anymore... I guess.
