What is best out of Casa Linda, Sosua Ocean villige (sov) and Hispanola .

You need to rent in each location and get a feel for how you like it. We did that a chose CL. However, no matter where you choose, some will love it and some will complain nonstop. We love CL but have had friends who sold their homes there and moved to other developments.

Costa Norte

Each are different, I’ve rented villas in both Hispaniola and Casa Linda.  I haven’t stayed in SOV, but I have driven through.  My preference is for Hispaniola Residencial, I simply like the feel of how the neighborhood is tucked away.  I also feel as though the development is managed well.

My second vote would be for SOV, simply for the aesthetic.  Most of the development is flat though with it being closer to the ocean.  Which is another reason why I like Hispaniola, the grounds have more personality with the hills and various layouts of the properties.

Casa Linda didn’t fit my palette as much, I feel like the grounds weren’t managed as well as some of the others.  Many years back (4 or so) many of the roads that I felt that should’ve been paved weren’t, although this could’ve been due to recent expansion or building.

Seahorse Ranch is quite nice, albeit the homes are at a higher price point of course.  At the end of the day it comes down to preference in my opinion, that and it’s all subjective of course. Similar to the other person that replied to your post, I recommend renting villas for a few days in each development (during a week long trip; or across a few trips to the area) and trying out the various amenities and restaurants on each development to figure out what works best for you.

As in almost everything one size does not fit all.   It all depends on your wants, needs, like, dislikes, budget etc!

As others pointed out, they are very different locations. Costs, fees, maintenance , etc all very different.

No way to know what you personally would like best.

I personally recommend everyone wanting to live in the DR to go to Punta Cana.

Taking a left turn onto route 5 in Cabarete can take minutes these days... LOL
