Seems there are many on here that have drunk more than their fair share of the Trump kool aid LOL - @FindlayMacD
Forget the Kool Aid. I'd like to drink Diet Coke. I don't like its taste, but Trump drinks it, and he has so much energy. I wish I had his energy. The other day, he flew to SC, had a press conference, met and talked with the victims of the Hurricane Helene. Then flew to California. Got on Marine One to survey the damage caused by the fires in LA. He listened and talked to the victims of the fire on the street, and how they were not allowed by the local government to go to their houses, that it would take 18 months just to clean their properties. Talked to a few groups, he had a press conference where he told the LA mayor that the victims should be allowed to go to their properties, not in 18 months, or even a week, but within 24 hours, to clean their place up on their own, and not get charged by the local government up to $25,000 in cleaning fees. It was already dark when he boarded Air Force One. (Not sure though if he went back to DC or to Las Vegas.) Then went to Las Vegas, then to Florida.

Yes I admire Trumps stamina & quick wit, I don't know how he does it.
At one time in everyones thoughts are about getting old. When I was in my 30's I saw an old man crossing the road, I said to myself I'm glad I'm not him. Then when I was in my forties I realized I was him.
At one time at McDonalds I was given too much change and I mentioned it. The reply was I gave you the senior discount and I was insulted.
When I saw President Ronald Reagan chopping wood I lost my fear of getting old.

I was trying to help Bob prepare for possible difficulties in his family's finances.
I offered no opinions on the subject
@Fred
I'm sure Bob is old and ugly enough to deal with his finances,,,,, He is still alive and kicking and obviously made it thus far.
Foreign countries politics and religions always stir up a storm here and I see clearly who stokes the fire. An Englishman that wants to debate US politics with US citizens living in a country far removed from your domicile in Indonesia, let alone your mother country that has its own major problems certainly raises many questions.
As said let it go and focus in your own back yard.
OMO.
Cheers, Steve.

(1) Your reliance on The Guardian (UK) which has left leaning bias and has been known for factual inaccuracies leading to mixed reliability.
(2) (GIGO) Garbage In Garbage Out from The Guardian, trickles down to you. Because by using them for a source, often is a GIGO rebuttal by you.
(3) Your links are totally useless because you don't know the difference between Medicaid & Medicare.
(4) Medicare is a Federal program for seniors. Medicaid is a welfare program for the poor administrated by the States. Each state has its own plan.

You conveniently deleted a good portion of Steve's post which reads:
"Foreign countries politics and religions always stir up a storm here and I see clearly who stokes the fire. An Englishman that wants to debate US politics with US citizens living in a country far removed from your domicile in Indonesia, let alone your mother country that has its own major problems certainly raises many questions."
He was referring to you. The Englishman and part-time DJ living in Indonesia whose name is "Not Fred."
You were interviewed by expat.com and given the title "Indonesian Expert," yet you posted this on your bio:
"My bio is XXX rated and banned from publication in many countries. A email to the address noted above will be replied to with the script. To confirm you aren't a robot, please include your full name, DOB, address, bank, and all your credit card details."
And this on "About":
"An ex DJ with no job prospects worth talking about, and don't really care. I'm from the north of England, speak Barnsley, and see life as a big fat reason to smile. I'm on Santa's naughty list Any ladies wanting a date should contact a psychiatrist. Any guys wanting a date will have to wait until I run out of ladies. I can be contacted on ohmygodhistastesmakethemarquisdesadelooklikeashyvirgin@radishmail.com I'm very sexy and don't smell very much quite a lot of the time. I found a blind and deaf lady who suffered a massive nose trauma that destroyed her sense of smell so we got married."
Do you think people will take your title as "Indonesian Expert" seriously, much less give merit to your posts on the Philippine forum? Get a life.

Everything in that profile is true, but I totally forgot to mention my 20 year old underwear.
I gather a sense of humour can be bought quite cheaply on several online sites, but be careful to purchase British humour as the American version is a bit crap.
Typical British humor: After Maggie Thatcher died it became quite popular at play a song from the wizard of oz. "Ding Dong the wicked witch is dead"

True, but the rights were owned by a big Thatcher supporter. The left were laughing without the slightest clue they were lining the pockets of a friend of the greatest politician that ever lived.

For our non British readers the Guardian newspaper is effectively the socialist Labour Party in house journal.
No wonder Fred dislikes the Daily Mail
@Fred
Nothing gets past Fred lol. It looks like they did shut down medicaid for a short time but turned it back on immediately when they realized that was in error *and no payments to individuals * were affected.
Media: "White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt later wrote in a tweet, "The White House is aware of the Medicaid website portal outage."
"We have confirmed no payments have been affected — they are still being processed and sent," Leavitt said. "We expect the portal will be back online shortly."
Aa for the other reference, it is tryr but those are payments not affecting *individuals* so they have been paused. No payments for any program that affects individuals, like social security and medicare, have been paused, according to Leavitt.
Just to prove you wrong, I have American friends. 😇 - @Fred
I wonder what they did to deserve that?
- @danfinn
Karma's a bitch
- @mugtech
I had no idea you were a Buddhist
- @Fred
Thought an Indonesia Expert would know one need not be a Buddhist to believe in karma.

That explains everything.
@Fred It looks like they did shut down medicaid for a short time but turned it back on immediately when they realized that was in error - @danfinn
It wasn't in error, but they soon found out they couldn't get away with it so they rescinded the directive, they also stopped all funding for veterans suicide prevention programs among a host of other essential programs, in fact the directive was to cut all federal spending. He just thought he would throw as much shit as he could at the fan and see how much sticks to the wall......... how much he can get way with. Got to find that money for the tax cuts for himself and his billionaire buddies somewhere.
Findlay MacD says “Got to find that money for the tax cuts for himself and his billionaire buddies somewhere.”
Actually the tax cuts he is proposing are most likely to help the middle / working class.

Perhaps less so if they die from an illness they would have recovered from if medical services were available.
That's would likely spoil the milk of tax cuts.

The majority of the tax cuts in his first term as President went to billionaires and big corporations and it will be the same this time around I'm sure. "Actually the tax cuts he is proposing are most likely to help the middle / working class." They haven't even started discussing tax cuts in congress yet and but you seem to know what he and they (The Republicans in congress) are proposing.
You guys from UK are suffering from the PTDS (Post Trump Derangement Syndrome)
You keep repeating the same old stuff that cost the Democrats the election.
Like tax cuts for the rich. . . and Bla Bla Bla
Why don't we have a coronation like you Brits, lets proclaim him as King Trump.
Better yet King of Kings

Better yet King of Kings - @Enzyte Bob
Do you realise the US constitution was designed to stop the very thing you have just proposed?
Also, the king of kings is a biblical term referring to Jesus/god. I'm sure many in the church would object
@Enzyte Bob
British kings and queens have no political power, they simply sign legislation into law that the government of the day has passed through both houses of parliament and I believe your founding fathers wrote the US constitution in a way that would ensure that the US would never again be ruled by a king.

So all but12 are rubbish?. A certain Indonesia expert not named Fred sends his children to the USA for their education. - @mugtech
Why do you feel the need to lie in order to support your position?
As you do, I can only assume you know you are wrong but don't wish to admit it. - @Fred
Ubudian, an Indonesia expert not named Fred, brags that he sends a child to school in the USA. Would seem that ranking the USA 13th means that there are 12 countries better and the rest of the world is worse.
@Fred
So your bio is lie?
Personally If I were you I would move on as you seem to revel in stirring sh1t here,,,,, wonder how many other expat sites suffer your diatribe?
I'm more than glad that FAM filled us in on a little of your questionable history.
Good luck you need it.

The Royal Family is worth 28 Billion dollars.
The tax payers contribute several pounds each to support the Royal Family and their activities.
Don't you think they should pay their own way?
The Royal Family does show signs of inbreeding (Hemophilia) but not severe as the tax payers who are being bled dry of their Earned money through taxes.
