The visa process should be initiated by you. She can not file for a visa for you.

Changing your story is a bad idea. Members commonly try to help potential expats, but ICE will see through you in 5 seconds.

Very hard to get visas to the States now since Trump doesn’t want anyone who is not rich, white and conservative. And one can correct me if I am wrong but to my knowledge you have to apply for the visa yourself at a US embassy or consulate. Nobody in the States can do it for you. Immigrating now to the States is likely a non-starter. As a tourist you need strong home ties and to show you have the financial ability. Having someone to visit is a double-edged sword. It means you might have free accommodation but also an easier possibility to overstay. And on another thread you were asking about working in the States; so your intentions are clearly in conflict to what they want from a legitimate tourist.
