ADMISSION TO TURKEY

One of the 100% ways to move to Turkey is to enroll in a university. After receiving a diploma, you can apply for naturalization, i.e. obtain Turkish citizenship provided you find a job.

How to enroll and how to choose a university?

First of all, you need to choose a university and a specialty with all responsibility. Choose what you sincerely like and where you see your studies as comfortable.

Popular Faculties in Turkey

1. Medicine (Tıp Fakültesi)

2. Dentistry (Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi)

3. Engineering (Mühendislik Fakültesi) – IT, electronics, construction, mechanical engineering

4. Jurisprudence (Hukuk Fakültesi)

5. International Relations (Uluslararası İlişkiler Fakültesi)

6. Economics and Business (İktisat ve İşletme Fakültesi)

7. Psychology (Psikoloji Bölümü)

8. Philology and Translation (Dil ve Edebiyat Fakültesi)

9. Architecture (Mimarlık Fakültesi)

10. Journalism and Communications (İletişim Fakültesi)

Top Universities in Turkey

Public Universities (cheaper, but harder to get into)

1. Boğaziçi Üniversitesi (Boğaziçi Üniversitesi) – top, taught in English

2. Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (ODTÜ) – strong in engineering and IT

3. İstanbul Üniversitesi – oldest and most prestigious

4. Hacettepe Üniversitesi – best in medicine

5. Ankara Üniversitesi – strong in law and international relations

6. Ege Üniversitesi (Izmir) – strong in medical and technical specialties

7. Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi – strong in humanities in Izmir

Applications are also now open for Sakaryu, Bartin and other universities in Turkey.

Private universities (more expensive, but easier to enter)

1. Koç Üniversitesi – one of the most prestigious private universities

2. Sabancı Üniversitesi – strong in business and engineering

3. Bilkent Üniversitesi – the best private university in Ankara, top IT faculty

4. İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi – strong in communications and media

5. Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi – popular among foreigners, programs in English

6. Yeditepe Üniversitesi – strong in medicine and law

Step 2 - find out the requirements and documents for study

most often these are:

•Certificate/diploma with translation.

• Passport.

• Photo.

• Language proficiency certificates (if any).

• Exam results (YÖS, SAT, ALES, GRE – if needed).

• Motivation letter and recommendations (for master's/doctoral studies).

Step 3 - submit documents and wait for an invitation letter

Step 4 - ask the university about a dormitory or assistance in student accommodation

or look for an apartment on the spot

Step 5 - register at the university on the specified dates and later apply for a residence permit

Now you are a student!

I will help with every step and make your studies in Turkey comfortable - [link moderated]
