Hi,

when settling in a new country, working parents are mostly concerned about finding child care services for their children.

What can you share with us about the child care system in Toronto ?

How much is daycare in Toronto?

Is the staff qualified at these daycare centers?

What are the usual opening hours?

Do they provide other services at the daycare center?

Any daycare center in Toronto you would like to recommend to other expats? What makes them special?

Thank you for participating! :)

Hi,

Here are some tips about child care in Toronto life-in-toronto.com/child-care-in-toronto.html

The hours are usually from 7 am to 6 pm, and if you come late, you will have to pay 1 dollar per minute in official child care centres. There is no way to recommend a day care centre, because Toronto is huge! You can easily locate daycare centres in your area here toronto.ca/children/gcmapx.htm. There are reviews for each day care centre and phone numbers. Good luck!
