Help you accounting type peeps out there.

Under the current Maltese company taxation rules, are there any tax breaks or incentives availabe regarding charitable donations?

eg.  If I am trying to get a company to make a donation to charity, can I use the incentive that they will receive a tax break or similar if they do it?

Many thanks
:D

not really. well depends which charity, but mostly there is no tax incentive in any case. in fact for most donations its even worse than a "normal" business expense as it has to be excluded from calculation of taxable profit (i.e. it will be higher)
