Hi Bouka,

It is my first year in Jaddah, this city is too much amazing and respectful, yey womens are allowed to wonder alone, they have all liberties same like other countries, expect driving.

A lot people are coming from UK and france, may be it is bored for non muslims.
:thanks:

What are you talking about, that's absolutely not true!!!  Where did you see women in normal clothes (no abaya), women mingling, walking, and eating with men they are not married or closely related to, women riding bikes, women seated at outdoor seating of cafes...?  Anyway, by saying "other countries" you are implying that women have the same liberties in the rest of the world, which is also completely false.  Many countries have varying restrictions on the public behavior and freedom of action for women.

I don't understand, why do some people post such blatantly false and misleading information here?

By the way, you are responding to a post from 2.5 years ago.

Wow, a member for 9 months and in all that time this is the very first topic post??? Strange indeed.

Kind of reminds me about the joke about the couple that had a 7-year old child who had never spoken. They had taken the lad to every doctor, clinic and therapist they could find and while nobody could find any physical reason for it, the child still remained voiceless.

Then one day, without warning while sitting at the breakfast table the boy shouted out, "the damned eggs are cold!"

Elated his parents rushed to him, embraced him and made a real fuss as parents love to do. "Johnny, you can talk! Thank God!" they shouted. "I could always bloody well talk!" he replied.

When the asked why, if he could always talk, hadn't he done so before today he replied...

"Until now everything has been OK."
