Beware buying property in Croatia. In most countries sellers advertise for 5 or 10% above the realistic price. Croatian sellers advertise typically for 2 3 4 or 5 times the actual price. Because of depopulation and earthquakes and oversupply, you can get houses/flats for under 1000 Euro per sqm currently. But being anti foreigner the biggest concern is that Cro gov will slap huge communal taxes on holiday homes
