hello

My name is Jim Frank and I'm a producer with the BBC World Service.

I am coordinating the BBC's coverage of the Africa Cup of Nations in January and have just started work on this.

I need to find a fixer based in Luanda who speaks fluent Portuguese and knows the lie of the land. This person will help fix many of the logistical issues for the team including accomodation ( in Luanda, Cabinda, Lubango and Benguela)which I know will be a headache, and other issues such as transport etc.

This would be a paid position pro rata and a good opportunity to be part of a big oustide broadcast for the BBC...this is a huge event for the World Service.

Does anyone know someone who might like to do this?

Any ideas or thoughts very welcome.

Also if anyone know where i can rent a house/apartment in Luanda for January that would be great.

I am planning to visit Angola within the next couple of weeks so again, any help would be much appreciated.

Please do get in contact with me via jim.frank@bbc.co.uk or 00 44 20 7557 3822

best wishes
