Cost of drinking water

PULOAYANFUL

Is there an alternate to that of the costly purchased bottled water such as a filtration system?

We bought a Phillips water purifier when I was in Hong Kong and this attaches to a tap and has worked very well for us. We use if for our drinking water and washing salads etc. It takes a cartridge that has to be replaced from time to time but we have only had to use 2 since we began using it mid 2010. It only works with water that has been treated so I am not sure if it will be any use if water is delivered from a tanker.
I know there are companies here who supply similar things.
I don't like the bottled water - it has a chlorine taste.

We put a REVERSE OSMOSIS Sytem into the factory I was working at and it will cost you a good $500 - $1000 to have a simple system installed.
