Hello,

I would like to post 2 books to Mauritius and I have been quoted the following by Royal Mail :

£62.50 tracked (Delivery within 8 days)
£32.00 Not tracked (Delivery within 8 days)

Are there any other cheaper options?

Thank you

maurilady

I have lots of things posted including books. My advice is to send it registered post. It usually arrives here within the week as a receipt is required. Depending on the weight of the book I would allow approx 10  pounds per book.

I bought books on Amazon France and had them sent here but I certainly didn't pay that much, although postage basically cost me the price of the books. There must be a cheape option that they're not mentioning somewhere!!

V1n@y, that seems a little bit high. I purchased some books through Amazon UK and had them mailed directly to Mauritius, and it came out to a smaller sum for 5 (not small) books.

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you all for your kind advice. I have checked Amazon UK and I can say it will cost me about 10 pounds per book which is much less than the quote offered by Royal Mail.

Thank you all again for your support :)
