Hi Bizzle,

I don't live in Arabian Homes Compound, but I have been there several times and I liked it. The houses are well furnished, the rooms are not very big though. It is Quiet and well serviced.

Thank you

Hi Bizzle,

I have my friends staying at Arabian Home compound, and I have visited that place quite sometime its a nice and quiet place with almost all the basic aminities.

Though houses are not that big, but definitely a small family can be accomodated in a pretty good way.

If you want to know something specific, pls let me know...

cheers

Yes, would like to undertsand the lay out? Is there a sense of community? Is it largely western? What types of people live there - older family orientated people or younger singles or a combination. Apologies if these are obvious things, I just have no idea what the place is like?

Yeh it is mostly western, no local people stay inside as far as i know, the amenities are pretty good by any standards and the location is also excellent (centre of the city with good malls and shopping areas near the vicinity ), There are only families on the compound and no single accommodation is present...

Check out the many threads on the topic (click here) and also check the classifieds.  There is a guy there who always seems to have villas for rent (he must be an agent and would probably be a very handy person to touch base with).

Good luck!

As for a driver and a maid, I don't know!  I guess if you are going through an agency it's a good idea to start early with the paperwork but this isn't my area of expertise (I only WISH I had a driver and maid )

Thanks, have a wonderful day !
