Thanks Harmonie.  I don't think people here like discussions on politics etc .... :-)

Harmonie

I don't think that politic has its place here on the forum, as Expat.com is meant to help expatriates.;)

I am not into politics nor do i study politics but according to me one should be interested in local and international politics. Not coz we want to be involved in it but just to know about what is happening around you, be it good or bad. And we do talk about political issues in family gatherings. It allows us to know what others think about the political state in the country, but never on a very serious note :-)

And Laurent politics is not boring at all. Read the following quotes. Am sure we have lots too laugh about as well:

1. In Mexico an air conditioner is called a politician because it makes a lot of noise but doesn't work very well.

2. Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly and for the same reason.

3. Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy.
