hello! my stepmom recently got a job offer in al ain and is planning on moving there before easter. i am 22 years old, from the US, and feel it would be a great experience in my life to move along with her and the rest of my family. i have some questions, however, that i would love to have answered! what is dating like? what is there to do? is internet connectivity any problem anywhere? will i find a part-time job? are there many westerners? any info will help! thanks :)

You'll enjoy the UAE, but as far as Al Ain goes, it's a mostly traditional town.  There are a couple of things to do but for a twenty-something american, you'll get bored really quick here...But don't worry, you're only 1.5hrs from either Dubai or Abu Dhabi...When most people think of the UAE, the first city out of their mouth is Dubai, because it's a city between New York City and Las Vegas without the casino's..So i'm sure you'll be spending quite a bit of time there...

Dubai offers, so much to include cultural activities, unbelievable movie theaters, nite-life, shopping, water sports, to name a few...You'll also get concerts from pop, soul, R&B, rap, top 40, jazz, classical to name a few...And they are all up-to-date musicians as well...I'm only naming a few things, but it has so much and you will never get bored except in Al Ain..lol...I work in Al Ain but live in Dubai, so that will tell you...lol...I'm also from America as well...Anymore questions just shoot me a note..
