I used to know how to cook, but I'm not doing it lately. My current kitchen is the size of a closet.
I enjoy cooking. Love preparing asian dishes. Have a great kitchen set up in my house in Australia.
In Laos, as I am there on leave break, I sit back, relax and the wife andfamily cook for me.
Variety is the spice of life.
I cook something different every time.
Having only one favourite dish is boring!
Hello:
I love cooking, i had to learn by myself, and have been making my own inventions, checking you tube, books and asking around when i find something that taste good. By living in different countries with a complete different culture and ways of cooking, i have learn a lot and even dare to mix and enjoy it. I do not cook much this days but i am willing to help who ever wants to learn simple dishes, spicy and tasty ones...yummmmyyyyyy....plus you do not need a huge kitchen and a bunch of pots to have a great meal....just have imagination and love for what you are cooking.
I never cooked in my life untill my wife passed away a little more than two years ago after awhile i was tired of eating out so i had to learn to cook by myself also i dont cook any thing special but it keeps me from starving and i plan to learn more.

Hello:
This is a very simple receipe: You need a Microwave.I call it "Stuff Potatoe with tuna salad and Melted Cheese".
Ingrediehts: one tomatoe, a can of tuna in water, 1/4 of an onion, mayo, and a nice Bake Potatoe, cheese of your choice, i used white mozarella and yellow that comes in a block,,,,you just use what you can have where you are.
Squezze the water from the can of tuna and put in a bowl.
Chop a tomatoe, Chop in small pieces onion as you want, i use very little and small pieces. Put all these in the bowl with the tuna and add mayo as you like, add salt, black pepper, and if you like chillis or hot sauce, add as you like..."the best is to mix the tuna, mayo ,onions and tomatoe....and after season to your taste. This is a simple tuna salad that you can use with macaronies, as for a sandwich, crackers and even celery, etc etc.
Wash the potatoe and cook in microwave.....i check with a thin knife if is cook and still add 2 or 3 minutes more in microwave.
NOW....the salad can be done the night before or just minutes before your dinner...your choice.
Take the cook potatoe.....cut in the middle but do not go all the way down...squeeze the potatoe some....put some slices or shredded cheese over then put two spoons of tuna on top and again cheese over the tuna. Put it in the microwave for a minute and let cheese melt inside and outside and ENJOY IT!!!
IT IS SIMPLE, NOT COSTLY AND HEALTHY PLUS IF YOU WORK, STUDY OR ARE ALONE,,,,IT ONLY TAKES THE TIME YOU COOK THE POTATOE, AND WHILE COOKING YOU MAKE THE TUNA SALAD AND THEN YUMMYYYYY.
I hope i was able to explain as simple as i could and you understood.
Please let me know if you need more information or how it came out.....Buen Provecho!!!

all the "fried dishes".... !
it's soo easy!
I love cooking and baking
Tried French (boeuf bourguignon, croque monsieur), Korean food (kalbi & bulgogi), Italian food (spaghetti bolognese, fettuccine carbonara, lasagna, tuna spicy fusili, aglio e olio, Spinach cannelloni with Ricotta cheese, many more), Russian (beef stroganov) and sure I cook Indonesian food......
And hungry now
it all depends on what type of cooking you like quick and easy i.e. stir fry and pastas or spicey curries or classic french cooking.
Me i try to cook them all just depends on how much time i have to get everything ready and cook.
There is nothing better than watching other people enjoy what you have cooked for them.
I can cook my favorite Pizza.
Having been a Chef for many years,I used the internet to score the world for interesting items on THEIR menu, then searched for a Recipe on the net. That way you tend to learn what is the latest fad and taste.Try to develope a taste sense so you know how to improve the flavor.Im in Phonm Pehn and Ill teach anyone how to cook just to meet friends. We could have a cook off. having lived and owned a Restaurant in India my curry dishes are to die for.....well put on wieght anyway...
i like cooking different dishes. the thing is i like to know the vegetables i've never seen or ate before and somebody to help in telling where and how it can be used. for example, i've been once in karama dubai, i discovered a supermarket with only philipino and chinese food items. i would love to meet someone who knows how to use these stuff and show me , stuff like 'Agar Agar', 'tapioca' ...etc
Yes I love cooking its one of my favorite hobby ,I always like to make new recipes ,I love oriental food.

agree with that
Three years ago cooking became passion, I spend the best time in the kitchen, and some times I just mix some ingredients together, add some spices and the result is always tasty.
My husband is American so most of the time I cook Egyptian food to introduce Egyptian cuisines to him. Now I'm an Egyptian and middle eastern food expert, I even published an Egyptian recipe book.
I don't cook Egyptian food only, I cook Thai food, some Korean dishes, a few Chinese dishes, Mexican, Italian and Indian curry. And I'm looking for French cooking classes.
I have some Egyptian recipes on my blog, all of them are easy to cook. You all welcome to check it.
Its interesting that you mention cooking because it's my new found love, I find myself watching the FOOD channel alot and I am going to explore cooking.

I'm cooking soup as we speak. Well, as we type. Or at least as I type. By the time anyone reads this it could be long gone.
Making pancakes or omelettes in a wok works really well because everything stays in the center.
I have not made lentil soup fpr a while nor stovies.
for breakfast i think i have a fried egg and tattie scone on a roll

summer27 wrote:any cooking is easy,it must be how fond you are of the dish you making.having work as pro chef so i know quite few things
If cooking is easy than there will be a lots of chefs (for example the housewives) and cookchannels/cooking shows will not be famous.
I am quite experienced but even me I have some days that something failed.
I learned to cook when I was only five years old. From infancy I spent all my time in the kitchen with my Italian grandfather, learning everything he knew about culinary arts. When other little boys wandered around with comic books under their arms I wandered around with cookbooks under mine.
Very early on I developed a passion for international cuisine and made my first French dinner for my parents when I was nine years old. I used my own money and bought a duck, made Duck a l'orange with all the trimmings.
Nowadays my repertoire includes Italian dishes (obviously), French, English, German, Polish, Portuguese, Chinese, Spanish, and my specialty Greek food. Despite the fact that I've lived in Brazil for over ten years now I suck, big time, at making most Brazilian dishes. Thank God my Brazilian wife is also a great cook because I love Brazilian food.
Our five year old son now spends all his time in the kitchen with me (history repeating itself I guess) and he already knows how to make many dishes. He loves to cook and I am sure will carry on in the tradition of his father.
Cheers,
