I want to hire someone to clean my house once a week. Does anyone know of a good and honest person? Also, how much is the average rate?? I asked a Khmer person and they told me $4 a day. That seems low, but I'm not sure.

I can recommend Sarom - if she is too busy she may know someone.

The people I know get around $150pw for a 40 hour week, so this is just under $4 per hour, not day. In Ratanakiri I paid $30 a month for 3 hours 3 days a week, which is closer to $1.10 an hour, but the maid did not have transport expenses (which are very significant) or city rental costs to pay, and she spoke no English.

If you have a live-in situation it is different again, both how much they work and how much they benefit from the accommodation. Also, an non-English speaker will expect less.
