Summer jobs in Malta

Post new topic

majoofka

Hi!
I am planning to start a job in Malta next summer. I'd come to Malta about 15th of July - from Poland. Do you think that i can find a job and accomodation directly ? Or should i search somewhere in advance? My first choice would be working in restaurant or bar as waitress.
About me:
-19 years old
- speak English very good, plus mother tongue is Polish and i speak little bit of German
- studying veterinary medicine
- started to work as waitress 2 weeks ago, so I'd have experience
- was working as au-pair in England

Do you think i can do it? Which city to choose? Valetta?
How much money i should have with me for the beggining ? How much i can earn and spend? :D
Thanks a lot for every information!
You can also write me e-mail : majoofka@gmail.com
Waiting for answers :)
