I haven't tried the call centres yet but I will do.... What are the call centres anyway???

I'm actually on Entel mobile

I am desperate to start using as not everyone in my family has skype. 

I have set up my online skype number (to let people call me) and my skype to go numbers (so I can call people) so that I can use my mobile to contact and be contacted and at the moment it is all pretty useless.  grrr!!!

International calls in Chile are not very cheap, you are better off buying a plan on skype so you can do unlimited calls to home lines, if you want to call mobiles you can buy skype credit and it will work out to be cheaper. I think plans start for around 5 US$ a month for plans.

I have a skype account and an online number and skype to go numbers (to make and receive calls on my ,obile at skype rates) and I have now solved the problem - yippee!

The problem was because I set up the numbers in the UK using my UK mobile so when I arrived in Chile and tried to call the numbers using a Chile mobile skype didn't recognise the mumber I was calling from .....

ps is it true that you have to have a national passport to buy a phone with a 1 year contract?????
