Hi all,

We invite all the ones who got married in Sierra Leone or who are about to get married in Sierra Leone to participate in this thread

What are the formalities to get married in Sierra Leone? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of Sierra Leone)?

Are the procedures complicated?

How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

Around October 2012, I plan to leave the US to marry my long

time boyfriend who live in Freetown. My fiancee mention that it

is cheaper to build a house and live happily in freetown.
