Hey Bro ! ur da man "Olivier-France"...

Keep up the good work ! we need more helpin people like ya in this world man...
oh u mentioned parties at embassies? howz the crowd like usually old? boring? n any idea how to participate or check em out?
should i call my Canadian embassy?

Olivier-France

Hi Rizwarsi,

I've tried 2 different embassies parties.
Nice drinks, nice food, tons of people.
You shake hands and you lie a lot and after half an hour you wonder when you can leave without being called rude :p
When I say you lie, you tell a lot of people that it's "nice meeting them" while you just try to forget how your feet ache :p
You put a stupid polite smile on your face because food is free, you don't want to look grumpy and when finally you manage to escape you try to remember one interesting conversation among the 47 you had... and you can't ! A lot of weather chats, several "how long have you been in Bahrain", many small talks about "the events of Bahrain"... OMG... I'd rather have tea with a bunch of English grannies... Sure it would be more fun :D

Well as you can see... I'm not really into it !

Cheers

Olivier

haha i hear ya... Let's just hope those party people from embassy aren't reading this forum haha. :D

I find that the most embarassing  moment by such  parties  is when you are forced in a group picture near the embassador...LOLOLOLOL When you already forgot everything after a month,  you go to the hair dresser,he  opens one of these cheap magazines and  said:Mam, aren 't you Mam??
OMGGGGGG :D

rosie1

double mind

Hay Rosie1,
