Expat Club Saudi Arabia! "interested? c`mon in!"

Howdy everbody! I've been thinking, and I bet so were many others, that we should stop talking about how to make friends and just get on with making them.:cheers: so I've got this great idea of starting a social network (in real life) so we can meet-up, have fun activities or share life experiences and even discuss business and politics in a safe and friendly atmosphere, I'll call it the "Expat Club" for now, once we start getting members we can actully make it official and decide what who and how. for starters, lets set-up a casual get together in Riyadh city (since I'm living here :P) on a weekend and findout if people are serious in meeting new faces and making new friends.. we can think-up some outdoor activites for later on, such as desert trips or tours inside as well as outside of riyadh, we might (depending on the members) organize visits or monthly meetings (or quarterly even "every three months) in others cities like Jeddah or Dammam. it's just an idea and its just the begining, it depends on you to make it happen. here goes nothing :P , I'm setting a weekend thursday 15th October as a first meeting date, your welcome to suggest a better date for valid reasons. so what are you people waiting for? lets hear what you got to say! :D Salman Omrani NOTE: This was an initiative made at a certain time and a certain City, this thread is to bring you all together and make your plans likewise so check the latest posts in this thread and find or fix meetings in your own area. all the best - Salman

Hello every one I would like to announce that we finally did it we were able to do it we have met earlier this night we spent a very good time and enjoyed chating and knowing each other although we were not many still it wase fun , I realy hope next time we will be mre I thank Mr. Mohamed , Mr. Wael , and , Mr Salman. We descided to do whatever it takes to make this meeting happen on regular bases and try to gather as many pepol as we can

at first i thought no one show up ... but then, Miracle Happened ...
and best of all, despite all the issues... everyone had 1 same Opinion... that:

ME... is a GOOD BOY... hehe

i lost the hope at the beginning ... but they started to show up ...

Played Table Tennis.. Snooker Coffee & Chocolates ... i think it was pretty awesome experience ...

and i really feel proud to make this happen...

whenever friends come over to Riyadh and ask us to show them around, most of the time we have no freaking clue of where to take them or what to show them. Kingdom tower, Diera Souq ..... the desert perhaps..

you all have this weekend to drop in hello's and Hi's in this tread, i'll arrange something for all of you and see if any of you are as serious as you think you are. (cuz usually noone is)

I'll arrange a gathering for next weekend. open for everyone. but i will be meeting you guys individually through out the week before the weekend so i can make sure no "complete wackos" show up.

my vice president is not in town (Alliecat) so we wont be screening the ladies, they can just show up with their hubbies or something.

and lets see how this goes.
