Hyia all, I had followed your exchange of email with interest over the last few weeks and regret not having been able to meet up with you all on Wednesday in Port Louis. hope to join you next time.
my internet connection is a bit dodgy so i might not
be on the net every day but hope not to miss the next event.
I arrived in Mauritius at the end of September but just moved to Tamarin at the beginning of the month. if there is anyone from around here, we could meet up for a glass of wine or a coffee at Bali Kopy or at the Rouisseau Créole, along the main road, both not far from London Way shopping centre.

Don't worry vishal we'll meet next time! We were around 15 (anyone counted?), maybe 5-6 different nationalities ?

Hi Aarbee, yes, we should also organize an event in the south, maybe on a Saturday afternoon... It would be very nice !

It was nice meeting all of you in Lambic. Since it was the first time it was understandable that some were not mixing around. On the other hand this get-together was certainly an ice breaker and we will definately have more fun the next time we meet.
We can always meet on a Saturday the next time and have something concrete planned for Christmas and New year. Since we all are away from our families in Mauritius, it is important for us to stick together.

hi everyone, just a quickie to inform you that two of my colleagues from work will join me for a drink at Lambic tonight, to check out the place. Thu 19 Nov. should be there around 6ish. would be nice if any of you could join us. if you see three banker-looking types..... that's us.... although we'll be trying to look casual :-)

In reply to Julien's post: Once I'm settled in at my place, I would be happy to host something at my house in Tamarin on a saturday or sunday afternoon/evening. Say in early December? Let me know if there is interest...... i'll keep you posted about my progress, and let's keep in touch here
