Dear all,

I am currently living in Koregaon Park (Pune).

I am gonna move in end of september to Mumbai.
My new work place will be closed to Andheri West.

Does anyone can give me advice on this area of Mumbai?

- Can I find a good sharing flat in this area?
- Do you know another interesting area which is quite closed from this place...

Thx in advance for your help.

Aurélie

Hello ColinBelgium.

In meantime, you can try to post an advert in the Housing in Bombay section. It might help. :)

Thank you,
Aurélie

Hi Aurélie,

I am not sure about the timing. It is in two month time.
Anyway, you are right. It is better to put all the chances on my side.

Regards,

Colin

Hello Colin,
Andheri is crowded.Andheri can be a pain.so you will need to share the exact location of the workplace to be able to suggest a specific locality depending on the budget and the expanse that you want to share.

The bollywood stars and starlets have pushed up the rents for shared accomodation in these parts of western suburbs.

Depending on the location of the office(Is it Link Road/S.V.Road/4 Bunglows/7Bunglows/Versova)and on the budget you have, you can work out the solutions.A point in case is that when you try going west from Andheri station to say Lokhandwala,it takes very long.In that kind of time you could easily commute from areas which are couple of railway stations away.
So do send in the details and we can check out the possibilities maybe in Khar or Oshivara.

As regards interesting areas around Andheri,it depends on your interests.

Best wishes,
Art

Thank you for your message. Here is the adress of my office: Road Number 13, MIDC Industrial Estate, Andheri East (It is East but it is closed to West on google map. I do not really understand :|)

After speaking with my colleagues, they told me that I will have to move a lot to Thane to see different workshops.

As my company pays the transport but does not pay me the flat, I do not really car if I have to travel 1/2 hour to go and come back :-).

For the price, here in Pune (Koregaon Park), I am paying for a very good 2 BHK (fully furnished, swimming pool) a rent of 26000 IRN (13000 IRN per person).

I know that Mumbai is more expensive but I would like to pay around 20000 IRN if it is possible to find in such range.

Thank you in advance for your help.
