COASTWEEKS...Who's with me?!?!!

Morning All!

International Coastal Clean-Up/Coastweeks is right around the corner...September 15th-October 6th.  If you aren't familiar with this, it is a time set aside where people from all around the world clean up beaches, oceans, rivers, etc during a three week period.  We document what we find on the beaches/underwater and share with an international database.  This info helps us get a better understanding of the biggest pollutants and what we need to do to curtail the problems.  Some big businesses have even been approached and they have changed their packaging based on the findings from this event.

I would absolutely love to organize a few events during this three week period (if events are not already scheduled).  It would also be a great way to get everyone together for a meet-up.  We could clean the beaches and then hang out after.  We could also do some group dives and do some underwater clean-ups. 

If you're on board, please let me know so that I can get the ball rolling.  We would need to move on this right away so we can get all the paperwork, etc going.
