Working in Rosebank and living in Dainfern Valley

About to make a decision on accomodation. Work location is in Rosebank and so far dainfern looks great. What do you think? How long does it take to drive from Dainfern to rosebank? Traffic?

Personally ythink way too far. Distance wise probably looks fine but with traffic you will sit in first gear for a long time!

Anywhere North of Witkoppen Road will take 'ages' to get to Rosebank. Main and William Nicol both have lengthy traffic jams every morning.

I stay in Rivonia and work near Rosebank and that takes me an 45 to 60 mins every morning. To stay in Dainfern you can add 20-30 mins.

Thanks all. The answers does help. However, so which gated estate and in which suburb can I and my family stay considering the security situation. I have been looking online and thought of Melrose, Bryanson, sunnivilli. Please I really will appreciate some guidance.

Hi melrose arch is close and safe, not gated though. Bryanston is doable but sunning hill too far IMO

Try Melrose/Houghton/Parkhurst. All great areas. Agree with the comments above - you dont want to live too far North of Rosebank, the traffic will kill you.
