Even one of my friend's cousin is comign from Canada but the thing is that it would be without warranty.. which is again a risk.. coz with electronics you cannot guarantee. I bought a new Ipad from Jarir and the homebutton was not working.. I took it to them and they got me a new one in a weeks time.

So, I will get it from here with the local warranty..

S3 is SR. 2,199 at the Extra. I paid SR. 2,499 a couple of months back.

I-Phone 4S is 2599.

That makes it 1700 sar for an s3.

Had a hands on experience of iphone 5 (display phone at a UK retailer) Not much change compared to iphone 4/4s. It is slimmer but once you have a protective case size will change. Doesn't feel like a new model so if your current iphone is meeting your needs no need to upgrade. Cost has gone up by £30 for 16 Gb model unlocked.

One friend placed order yesterday from souq.com for SAR 2,999 (16GB white). Let us see how does the experience go.

iPhone 5 will be available with all 3 mobile phone companies from 13/14 December.

Prices not available on web sites. Also not sure if face time enabled or not. Pre order starts from 9 December.

Yep. I asked him to cancel the order the next day on getting to  know updates from Mobily and STC.

Good time to order iphone online was like 4 months back, now you are going to get it on just 100 SR more than the shelf price here.

People will miss SJ's innovation factor that kept apple innovating.

Still, I love Iphone and not those Ice Cream Sandwich, Pan Cakes kinda phones..

If you need flexibility go for Android, if you want class, elegance, cool design than its iphone. However, everyone have their own views.
