Good morning one and all,

Just wondering if there are any Cornish Expats on the island. I have finally arrive to settle on the Island having got married to my Mauritian Wife on the 11th April this year, and returning to see out work obligations.

I am now in the process of sorting out my residents permit. I look forward to hearing from other Cornish or Celts. But I would be happy to hear from anybody that wishes to network.

A little able me...

Just turn 42, work for Tesco for over 23 years ending in there Head Office as a Project Manager, skills include MS Office, VBA, SQL. I also have a big passion for music and have been a Club and Mobile DJ for 17 years, but mainly specialising in Weddings and Birthdays. I was also once a very keen racing cyclist, which is something I want to get back into (So any cyclists please contact me).

Look forward to the next Expat meet, as would be nice to make some new friends.

Hi Quickie

I cycle regularly (3 times a week) with groups from around pamplemousses and Grand Baie. If you want to join us contact me directly. I believe there's also a Baie du Tombeau group who cycle every Sunday morning from Jumbo to Grand Baie and back.

Hi Eric,

You sound to be in a similar position to my Mauritian Wife and I. Will be visiting next month to sort out my residency and follow up job leads/look for jobs.

I'm not Celtic or Cornish I'm afraid, apart from some Celtic ancestors.

Happy to chat,

David.
