Post new topic

LizG

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to give you a head's up that I run an English language quiz night at Cafe du Livre in Gueliz on Monday nights. We get a good crowd of English speakers and it's a lot of fun!

Details

Place: Cafe du Livre -which is in the courtyard of Hotel Toloussian on Rue Tarik Ben Ziad. (If you don't know where this is, it can be found on google maps by searching Cafe du Livre Marrakech)

Day/Time: Every Monday night from 7 until about 9.

Price: 30 dirhams to play

Info: We have 10 rounds of questions, and you can play with a team of up to 6. The winning team wins 2 bottles of wine and the last place team gets a slice of chocolate pie.  There is also a Snowball question and a chance to win some cash if your team is the only ones to get it right!

If you don't have a team, don't worry! Come join another team and meet new people!

If you have any questions feel free to contact me at liz.cafedulivre@gmail.com

I hope to see some of you there!!

It's not a "course" asahabi. It's a night for native and fluent English speakers only, involving answering questions in a structured way to win prizes.

LizG won't be organising quizzes in Rabat, seeing as she lives in Marrakech.
