Hey guys,

I moved to Dusseldorf half a year ago and now my wife moved here too. My wife is pregnant, our baby boy is due around January 2013.

Guys I need some help :

Registering? I just need to go with her to the Rathaus (passport/id) and register her to the address we're living, right?

I also got the insurance papers, will send them soon.

But the most important question :

How do I get a doctor and a midwife?

Thank you for all your help guys!

Paul

The regulations say that you need to register within a week of moving, and also that you need to have health insurance while living here. So, if you are truthful at the registration office and towards the health insurance, you'll face a fine and possibly have to pay past premiums.
You can find a Gynecologist in the phone book, or Google.

I'm already registered and have my insurance card (with picture).

I've found Dr. Monica Peters, will give her a visit soon :)
