Job search is allowed on SVP, but work is not.
Whether you get an SVP or not depends on if the authorities think you'll work illegally or not, so tell them a good reason for your visit.

What is the good reason to say..can you give me some examples please...please help me out

For example visiting relatives or friends, if you have any. Or (if a short visit) stopover on  the way to somewhere. Be prepared to show your relative/friend's address and/or flight tickets if they ask.
While job search on SVP is legal, telling them so will raise suspicions that you might also consider working illegally. In that case it depends on  your profession and whether illegal work is endemic in that field in Singapore.

hi vikram, it is absolutely ok for u to enter sgp on visit pass, you can just state "holiday/leisure-purpose". however, you must know that it is very difficult to get a work pass nowadays because of the conditions and the authority is tightening the rules.
