I read in another forum, a post saying its illegal to own exotic pets in Cambodia. Parrots, monkeys, etc. But I found in a net classifieds website in PP, ads selling miniature monkeys, parrots, snakes, etc.  Can anyone that knows for sure clarify the issue.  Thanks

Many Cambodians own crocodiles, I know westerners who also own crocodiles and snakes.
Are these considered exotic here in Cambodia?

I would also be interested, are there any laws in Cambodia on pets.

Well the Cambodians of course keep them for their skins, many have then in compounds, I owned 2 young ones 5 years ago and kept them in  a large glass tank.

I know a westerner who has 2 in a pond in his garden along with 2 viper snaked and cobra snakes in cages.
