Bring Car from UAE

Dear friends,

Can any one advise me how to bring my own car that i left in Dubai. Now I am working in Doha recently I got my RP and Qatar Driving License. The car is still under my name in Dubai it is Nissan Sunny 2005 model, I like this car very much and it is in very good condition too.

I heard that it is not possible to bring if the age of car is exceeding more than 5 years. And some ppl saying it is possible as the car is under my name, they are not sure too.

please help me..

2005 models cant be moved to Qatar, as of January 2013 only 2009 and above cars can be imported to Qatar. You can keep the car with the Emarati license plates but you need to get it back there every year for the registration renewal.

You also need to get 1 year insurance in the border, you can get your car by calling any car transportation company in UAE.
