I've had a scout of the previous topics but haven't found anything that covers this however apologies if it's already been answered. I'll be joining my partner in Benghazi at the end of this month. I don't wear a wedding band (I don't wear any jewellery) - does anyone know if it would be better for me to do so in order to avoid any question about our relationship?

Many Thanks for any feedback

When Mrs Sand goes out having forgotten to wear her wedding ring, she regularly gets heckled by the gelled lotharios...

When she does wear her ring, the heckles are less frequent...

Fewer heckles is always good I imagine. I'll be digging it out of the bottom of whatever jewellery box I dropped it in then! Thanks!

Depending on the local culture, it is worn on the base of the right or the left ring finger. Wear the engagement ring of a set before the wedding day. In the traditional manner, the engagement ring is worn on the third finger of the bride-to-be's left hand.

Hello Davindane89.

Please note that this is an old thread.

But thank you for your contribution :top:
