Can anyone help me out with which university is best for Information Technology for Post graduation.

I think you should go to University of Auckland

It has a fine reputation: The best university in New Zealand. For Technology and Engineering, it was ranked 68th (2012), although it has been declining since 2006, which was 43rd. This information is based from QS World University Rankings

As a student they give you work permit up to twenty hours per week.
Lots of clubs and sports: Photography, football, film, yoga, etc. Probably because lots of students are in AU

I say University of Auckland's approach to teach students is to give students more theories.

I do not know much about AUT, but I heard from many friends AUT's approach to teach students is to give them a balanced amount of practical learning and theories.
