Hi, I think this site is great. Nice to have a place to share experiences and thoughts. I have been living in Barcelona off and on for the past three years. My experiences as an American living here have been off the charts in a lot of ways and pretty cool in others. i think it is easy to see the downsides to expat living, and just as easy to be reminded on a daily basis why I am here. At any rate, I am a musician/painter and I make my living this way so I am outside the norm of having to find a job/career which makes one part of my experience much better.
